Abstract

The following paper is a critical approach on the modern society and its culture of castration, understood as the cancellation or in its best case, the conditioning of the individual through the education and work as juxtaposed elements implanted on the natural desire of the individual. As regards, the critical theory of society succeeds in revealing the individuals in acting condescendingly towards a self-inflicted repression of their biological instincts, placing into perspective the current condition of the education, which brought under the domain of whole, obeys as well in its functionality to the oppression of the human potential, in pursue of integrating the individual to the consumerist absoluteness of the whole social system.
